Customer service is good and staff very welcoming, no complaints there. However, my most recent experience was NOT good! Took my car in for a brake change, asked for my boot to be checked as the boot was not opening for some reason? Upon returning to collect my car, the first thing that was very noticeable was the large scratch on one of my wheels that was not there when I dropped the car off that morning (was very obvious as the other scratches were much more of a dull colour which indicates they were there previously) , not only that the boot was now open but could not close and was cable tied down, the car was also making a terrible clanking noise which it wasn't that morning. To top it all off the iPad used to video my car that morning did not actually record anything, thus puts me between a rock and a hard place trying to prove anything?! I left the garage with having to do more work to the car! Very disappointing when spending around £300 and then leaving with the car clanking, open boot, and fresh scratch which is an eye sore on the Black wheels! After being contacted by the after sales team I was asked to return to the garage (like people don't have anything better to do with their time than return to a garage, spend another 2-3 hours of your day travelling to and from, to get more work done on their car and spend more of their hard earned cash there, and hoping nothing else happens having to return again) and to top it all off there has been no follow up to the last email from VW to check as to why I have not returned, its been almost 6 weeks now! Very disappointing! Better off going to another location or using your local garage if you can.
